It was with particular pleasure and satisfaction that DAFNI Network submitted to the Municipality of Amorgos a comprehensive proposal to develop a thematic tourism product called Amorgos Heritage Route. The DAFNI team travelled to Amorgos twice, where it recorded the current condition of the Trails Network and managed, partly thanks to the constructive cooperation with the Southern Aegean Region, to submit the necessary fact-finding and evaluation reports aiming to identify the necessary improvements that would allow for the appropriate organisation of infrastructures, a proposal to extend and renew the Trails Network of Cultural Interest and finally a report on the potential of such an integrated development for the preservation of the landscape and the strengthening of local economy.
