AGRICOM

Assisting the Agrifood sector in the uptake of renewable energy communities

Agricom aims to support 15 beneficiaries in establishing renewable energy communities across five diverse countries/regions — Belgium (Wallonia), Croatia, Greece, Italy (Trentino), and Spain (Catalonia) — to demonstrate adaptability and replication potential. Each community will develop a pipeline of renewable energy projects, supported by detailed continuation and business plans. These plans will address funding sources, payment conditions, and investment timing while considering local contexts for investment support, peer-to-peer energy sharing, self-consumption, power purchase agreements, and flexibility services. The tailored business models will minimize exposure to energy price volatility. DAFNI will be supporting the open call for applicants and will be responsible for the organization of the capacity building workshops enabling the wider uptake of renewable energy communities.

Additionally, DAFNI network will be responsible for the communication and dissemination activities of Agricom.
